Hi, I’m Chantelle, a first-time mum to my beautiful daughter, Violet, and the founder of Vioka.

Vioka came to life not long after Violet was born. The name is inspired by Violet and Oak, two words that represent strength and natural beauty. These are the qualities I aim to bring into everything I create. Like many new mums, I was searching for a playpen that felt safe, spacious, and practical, but also calm and beautiful in our home. What I kept finding were bulky plastic options or wooden playpens with high price tags and unnecessary extras.

At the time, I was seven months pregnant and finishing my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Computer Science and Data Science. I had planned to continue my career in tech, but once Violet arrived, my priorities shifted. I wasn’t ready to be away from her, and I wanted more flexibility and a deeper sense of purpose in my everyday life.

That’s when Vioka began, a small business built from my home in Perth with a simple goal: to help other parents create safe, beautiful spaces for their little ones to grow and explore. Our signature wooden playpens are designed to fit your home and your lifestyle. They’re foldable, versatile, and ready to use straight out of the box, so they adapt to the way you parent.
